Home to a bevy of iconic, household brand names well-known throughout the world, such as Neutrogena, Band-Aid, Tylenol, and Listerine, Kenvue spun off from parent company Johnson & Johnson in 2023, establishing itself as the word's largest pure-play consumer health company. During its journey towards being a standalone company, new strategies and associated processes were developed to meet new organizational goals and objectives.

 

As a Senior Manager on the Design team leading innovation, and then, leading the $6B Global Self Care segment, I stepped out of my official roles to support increasing needs from the Growth & Strategy team in the areas of Consumer Brand Design and Organizational Strategy, leveraging Design as a superpower to clearly articulate new and evolving guidance and to find the right solutions to the right problems. Working cross-functionally and with a growth mindset, I identified areas where Design could add exponential value towards operationalizing its new strategies, filling in gaps with newly formed guidance and translating the executional strategy to Design team strategy with new and evolving frameworks.

Consumer Brand Foundation

 

A single, best-in-class framework for defining strategic brand equity globally across 200+ brands at Kenvue.

Through close stakeholder management and collaboration with the brand strategy team, I initiated and led the development and operationalization across all segments of the business.

Consumer Brand Building Leadership

 

 A strategic process and clearly defined deliverables for building consumer brands with quality and consistency globally at Kenvue.

Articulated through a single framework that illustrates the end-to-end process and deliverables, new ways of working were adopted and operationalized across the business.

Organization Design
& Digital Product Ownership

 

As part of the Executional Strategy core team working closely with senior stakeholders, I leveraged creativity and hard design skills to articulate an overarching strategic framework for executing brand communication, innovation, and product delivery at Kenvue.

Once finalized, I concepted and developed an internal microsite to serve as a central source of truth for the entire organization.
